About Brook Harris
From a young age, Brook has always had a strong interest in fashion and its ability to transform someone’s confidence and reputation. Consequently, it is no surprise that he chose to pursue a career in this field. He began in 2008 as an Apprentice Menswear Designer for a global fashion brand on the famous Oxford Street, London. Throughout his training, he developed key tailoring skills allowing him to complete his apprenticeship at only 21 years old, making him the youngest professional clothier at the company. After completing his apprenticeship, he began working directly with clients from the world of business, sports and the arts, predominantly in Canary Wharf, Mayfair and the City of London.
By 2015 Brook had delivered over 5,000 bespoke items and developed a loyal client base with over 85% of his $500,000 annual sales coming through repeat business or direct word of mouth. In 2016, having excelled within a global fashion house and acknowledging the influence he can have on peoples confidence using fashion, Brook launched his own independent bespoke clothing brand focussed on delivering the best shopping experience alongside clothing of the highest comfort and quality. Doing this enabled Brook to develop greater relationships with his clients and have more control over the products and services he offers.
Brook says, “My Clients trust me with how they look. To me, there is nothing more powerful or personal to an individual than how they dress, especially when it matters most. I have always been excited at the opportunity to help people find their own unique style to ensure they look and feel their very best.”
Throughout his many years in tailoring, Brook has grown familiar with the struggles a lot of people face when shopping. In fact, his desire to help others grew from his own frustration when he struggled to find off the peg suits that fitted him correctly. Subsequently, he has learnt how to be attentive to every client’s individual needs but recognises that a large majority of his clients are just looking for expert style advice from a trusted professional, for which he is happy to be on hand.
Brook describes being a tailor as similar to being a detective, “everything is subjective, so pinpointing each client’s expectations and needs is hugely important to establish exactly what they desire.” Brook continues, “…I absolutely love seeing how my clients react when they try on their bespoke outfit for the first time.”
His clothing brand, Brook Harris, is centred around reinventing the shopping experience whilst providing luxury clothing to help his clients make an impact. Brook highlights how “a bespoke suit is one of the greatest investments anyone can make. It’s like owning the best first impression money can buy!”.
